What makes a good neighbor?
It’s not just the occasional greetings that one might exchange or a frequent wave from your car coming across neighbours. It’s the actual care. How the water does not clog their driveway from my carwash. How I keep the noise level down. Sending them home-cooked food and a note to let them know if there’s any construction work that might be disturbing their routines too. Getting involved in street maintenance. Having a WhatsApp community group to share info. Potluck once in a while. Neighbours are usually the first responders in case of emergency. We need to value them.
